From our soil
Recognition starts with the work.
Planting, tending, harvesting, curing and sorting are still hands-on jobs. Soil, weather and timing matter. We use better observations where they help, but good garlic is grown season by season.
Hunterdon County 4-H first place for gourmet garlic, three consecutive years.
The varieties shown in our farm photo are Georgian Fire, Chesnok Red and Ivan. Each brings a different character to the kitchen. Growing and preparing them takes patient work from planting through harvest.
