We farm near Round Valley Reservoir in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. We grow garlic, raise chickens and pay attention to the small routines that keep a farm going.
Our curiosity about technology is practical. If a repetitive chore can be automated cheaply and reliably, we are probably going to try it. It does not replace farming; it gives small farmers another useful tool.
We test ideas modestly, keep what works and stay honest about what is still an experiment.
